Appreciation for greatness

I have a few rules for myself I try to honour. Limit the amount of non-animated illustrations I upload, never draw just a character or object posing, always have some sort of joke or message behind it, work at least longer then a couple hours on it to be upload worthy..

I have broken all of those rules, because this is a special moment.

Ever since I came to the internet and uploaded my very first movies on Newgrounds, I was thrilled to get many feedback from cheerful people who explain in great detail how brutally they were going to murder me and rape my family for having something animated. It’s a great honour people go trough such lengths to make their opinions known to us, all while reminding us of the primary law of the online world: internet, serious business.

Some awesome flash movie was made a few days ago, hilariously making fun of Euan’s Asthma and I even had the personal honour of having a small cameo in it myself. Of course I love it when I get ridiculed, it’s more fun and witty then death treats or even fan mail after all and the movie was hilarious and awesome.
Sure, there were a few little things missing, like y’know, jokes and stuff, but hey, awesome. Not the point of the story either.

Then hell breaks loose, people start overreacting about hurt feelings, start insulting each other, you know how it goes. I prefer to stay in a neutral position, since both sides had good points and flaws, making fun of people is bad, overreacting is bad, and so on. Plus I didn’t really care either way. Until we get to the horrifying low point that emo journals are written filled with curse words. The humanity.

Sassi, one of the involved people, got depressed and started to express her feelings, but thank goodness, our as of yet unidentified heroes entered the stage to make her make her feel more miserable. I dislike emo poetry and over-dramatisation as much as the next guy, so it goes without saying I could sleep better that night when our avengers of good taste started to bash the person who’s unable to control her emotions into the ground.
After all, people who don’t behave exactly like firm rules of society tell us to, as formulated by our well educated school jocks, should be punished. Hey, even I go to the mental hospital in our neighbourhood every weekend to beat a few retarded people in the head. That’s why people love me so much. What, you think it was because of my lame movies? Sure.

Everyone has the right to hate certain parts of art, or behaviour, and express their feelings about it. For example, I hate art where people paint fruit baskets. However, I still haven’t gone on a murder spree yet, nor barged into fruit basket convention halls to express my hatred for them. I lack the strength and bravery to do so. That’s why we should all raise our glasses and cheer for brave people such as , and , who don’t only go around spreading hate messages all around, but bravely stage entire spam attacks on the artists who get depressed about it. Excellent work boys, the whole world is counting on you!

So for them, I designed this totally awesome “most awesome person of the universe medal” Take it with pride guys, you earned it. And if you don’t like it, I’m sure I’ll find many comments on my frontpage telling me about it.

For those never had the strength and courage to bully a person with a different taste to death, go visit our young warriors and be sure to leave a comment as a token of your appreciation for them. And as for the young heroes-in-training yet to look for a great target to attack, pick me, pick me! It’s been ages since I had my last death treat, and my poor partner in crime, Alex also doubts her talents because she has yet to receive her very own hate club. I barely put effort in my drawings, don’t give a damn about perspectives or other silly things like anatomy,I like furry girls, and tough I am losing weight I’m still legally fat, so plenty of reasons to bash me! Go my brave warriors and earn yourself the awesome medal on display! We’re all behind you!
