Lsat week there was the national animation festival, so I decided I could join up in the student category. I feared most of my regular work would be awkward for a more generic crowd, so I made this new flash instead, which is probably a bit more boring for you. Ah well.
I made this with XTREME ANIMATING. That is, 80% of this movie was animating while I was sitting in the bus to school, waiting at the barber shop, or in the bathroom. I mastered drawing with the touchpad, plus I learned I can use my pants as a great mouse pad, so I can now officially animate whenever and wherever I want, yay.
Based on how I spend 80% of my old childhood, being held hostage by family parties. Voices are dutch, cause y' know, European voices= art.
As for the festival, I don't know if it's shown, or arrived there, or anything, I never got any message and there's no info on the net about which movies were shown. All I know is that I didn't win, but whatever.
Sad thing is, even if I won the festival, uploading a extremely unpopulair movie casually on devianrt will still net me more audience and praise then winning the festival ever will. Haha.
Really? I thought you were native English speaker... Strange. You always seem to talk so fluently, correct and you are giving to your speech the same emotions as if it was your first language... Well, probably I wouldn't recognize a foreigner even if he punched me in the face so hard that I would land in his country.
Well, we dutch have a history of being able to learn otehr langauges a lot. Being big on trading back in teh day. And in my youth, almost no tv shows or movies were ever dubbed in dutch so English is almost my second mother language.
But yeah, if I have to talk a lot of long sentences with no script in front of me, I won't sound very fluent English.
I noticed something: The people who ask the kid (is that supposed to be you as a kid?) how school is before he bangs his head on the table are the same people who ask him how school is after he bangs his head on the table! They each asked him twice!
