The second of the 2 movies I made for my trip to England.
Barely slept, and poisoned myself with coffee to get this baby and IMP finished in 10 days. Thanks to Alex for putting up with me!
Yes, we made this for Summer of Sonic, so the people who were there will probably fondly remember seeing this... You don't?
Ah yes, a few hours before I had to rush to my plane, we got the message they didn't have room anymore to show this flash. And I understand, Summer of Sonic was absolutely jam packed with the beamer showing the time schedule while idle music plays.
Well, in fairness, we should have sent them an Avi file instead of the shockwave file. Obvious mistake I made in hindsight. Ah well.
Anyway, barely an hour after I posted my journal where I said I wouldn't have any animations for Summer of Sonic, i suddenly remembered Alex and I were playing Sonic adventure 2 back in Canada and made a list of plot holes.
Considering I made my Sonic adventure 2 in 4 minutes flash before my sense of humor and parody making actually included...well, actual parodying rather then just being random, I figured I could make a sequel to that flash movie.
I asked Alex for permission to use her jokes, but in some way or another, rather then becoming a "In minutes"movie it ended up becoming an Evil Doc production. This caused some problems, such as that the voice actors I hired speak extremely fast as how it would be in a "in minutes" movie, while the actors Alex rounded up talk in a calm confident voice, as would be the case in a pure Evil Doc movie. So now it's a bit of a mish mash. Ah well.
At least this movie scored bigger and harder laughs then IMP with my live audience, presumably because in IMP I had to spend a lot of animation building up the context for the jokes, while here everyone already knows the context and we can just throw the jokes in your face without build up. Whoo.
